Empowerment is often perceived as a solo journey, but it is significantly influenced by the relationships and support systems around us. Under every harsh label, opinion, or judgement is a human being who deserves to be seen, valued, and understood. As we turn the mirror away from ourselves and shine a light on others, we begin to transform any negativity into something positive.
Embracing others with love not hate, allows me to love myself. Forgiving others with kindness and compassion, allows me to forgive myself. Sharing what I have allows me to trust and accept myself.
Today I encourage you to breathe deeply, focus on the present and all the blessings surrounding you. None of us are perfect, and we should never judge ourselves according to those standards. Shine your light and illuminate those around you. When you do, the light will shine ten fold back towards you.
