DeAnna Lee
Owner, coach, and choreographer of DeAnna Lee Dance and creator of the Boot Boogie Babes in 2014. DeAnna began her career as a dance instructor in Houston, TX working for Step-N-Style Dance Studio teaching two-step, polka, waltz, cha cha, west coast swing, and jitterbug. She’s also a 27-year country radio veteran and has coached performance teams for 25 years. Her mission statement of empowering women through line dance and friendships has spread all over the Puget Sound and to five other states in the last ten years.
Kristin Kiehl
Eight-year veteran of DeAnna Lee Dance and National Lead Dance Instructor Manager for the organization. Kristin helps to boost confidence in students, refine their technique, and equips each dancer with the necessary skills to teach Boot Camp classes. Kristin was recently promoted to Assistant Coach and works weekly with the Seattle Boot Belles performance team. She is a Certified Lead Dance Instructor and has helped launch Boot Camps in Tacoma, Renton, and Gig Harbor. Kristin also has added choreographer to the list of her unique attributes she shares with DLD.
Sue Sorensen
Seven-year veteran of DeAnna Lee Dance and Olympia Boot Camp Lead Dance Instructor for the past two and a half years! Sue is patient and thoughtful, breaking down steps in a way that meets everyone where they are, whether beginner or seasoned dancer. They notice when someone is struggling and offer help gently, never making anyone feel out of place.
Their kindness shows in the way they celebrate small wins, encourage progress over perfection, and create an atmosphere where laughter and learning go hand in hand. They lead with compassion, understanding that every dancer brings their own story, comfort level, and pace to the floor.
Phyllis Pierce
Three-year DeAnna Lee Dance Veteran and Mercer Island Boot Camp Lead Dance Instructor, Phyllis Pierce is a student favorite! She brings over 20 years of jazzercise instructor expertise to her line dance classes. She pushes her classes with lots of energy and empowerment. This is her first year as a featured Boot Stomp instructor, and we know you’re going to fall in love with her style of teaching!

Four-year veteran of DeAnna Lee Dance and the Lead Dance Instructor at the Bothell Boot Camp. Rather than simply teaching choreography, she builds community—fostering connection, trust, and joy in every class. Under her guidance, people don’t just learn to dance—they feel seen, supported, and confident enough to keep going.
Amber Jones
Six-year Veteran of DeAnna Lee Dance and the Lead Dance Instructor for the Port Orchard Boot Camp .She is a thoughtful and highly professional line dance instructor who brings both precision and care to every class she leads. She has a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each step, count, and transition is clearly explained and easy to follow. Her instruction is intentional and well-structured, helping dancers build confidence while mastering the fundamentals.
Tricia Reed
Five-year veteran of DeAnna Lee Dance, a two-year Boot Boogie Babes veteran, and the Lead Dance Instructor for Graham Boot Camp, Tricia brings so much passion and precision to her classes. If you’re just beginning to learn to line dance, step into one of Tricia’s workshops for Boot Stomp weekend, and you’ll be sure to leave feeling more confident. Tricia is patient and has a way of making everyone feel great as they learn the steps!
Linda Hinrichsen
Ten-year Veteran of DeAnna Lee Dance and Certified Lead Dance Instructor and Coach for the Las Cruces, New Mexico Boot Boogie Babes performance team. Linda performed with the Corona Dancers in New Orleans and Dance Center in Seattle with Shirly Jenkins. She also enjoys partner style dancing including fox trot, waltz, and salsa. Linda helped launch the Las Cruces Boot Camp in 202 and now helps empower women in her home state of New Mexico weekly.
Jenny Turner
Four-year Veteran of DeAnna Lee Dance and is a Lead Dance Instructor and the Dance Assistant for the Bothell Boot Camp. She is an instructor whose contagious energy instantly lifts the room the moment she steps in. She brings a vibrant, upbeat presence that motivates dancers to loosen up, have fun, and fully engage in the experience. Her enthusiasm is genuine and infectious—it encourages even the most hesitant participants to jump in and give it a try.
Carrie Willer
Five-year Veteran of DeAnna Lee Dance, the Coach of the Bakersfield Boot Boogie Babes and the Lead Dance Instructor. She is a is a passionate line dance instructor whose love for country music shines through in every class she leads. She’s deeply committed to helping her students grow, encouraging them to push past their comfort zones while still feeling supported. Carrie has a natural ability to inspire confidence, celebrating progress and motivating dancers to refine their skills and expand their abilities. Her enthusiasm for both the music and the craft of line dancing creates an environment where dancers feel energized, challenged, and excited to keep improving.
Laurie Johnson
Three-year DeAnna Lee Dance Veteran and Lead Dance Instructor for our Renton Boot Camp. She is a confident instructor who brings a bright, upbeat energy to every class she leads. She carries herself with assurance, guiding dancers with clarity and ease while keeping the atmosphere light and enjoyable. Her fun, lively spirit is contagious, helping everyone feel more relaxed, engaged, and ready to move.

Sandy Rogers
Four-year Veteran of DeAnna Lee Dance, Lead Dance Instructor and Dance Assistant in the Everett Boot Camp. She teaches line dancing the way a good compass points north—steady, reliable, and impossible to lose track of. She greets everyone like they belong there, cracks easy jokes between sequences, and keeps the energy light without ever losing control of the room. Her enthusiasm is contagious, but never overwhelming—it lifts people up instead of putting them on the spot.
