For the 2026 season, you can be a Boot Boogie Babes (Advanced Level), Boot Girl (Intermediate Level), Boot Belles (Improver Level), or one of the Boot Chicks (Beginner Level) from anywhere in the world! All our team lessons will be in person in studio and will also broadcast virtually weekly!
The 2026 Audition Dance will be taught in three, one and a half hour in person and virtual lessons that also include a lesson on flare and styling, how to bring the sass, and most importantly how to feel confident during auditions! After this, the Audition process begins! It’s $140 total per dancer for the entire 2 month process ($70 for round 1 & 2 in January and $70 for round 3 & 4 and first team rehearsals in February). This link is just for January and after that we will have you register again for February.

AUDITIONS WILL BE BOTH IN PERSON & VIRTUAL!
Location for in person Auditions: STROUM JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER, Mercer Island, WA.
For Virtual let us know and we will email you those guidelines.
In each round, you will be asked to perform the official 2026 Audition Dance plus one other dance from the level at which you are auditioning. You will have learned these dances in our Audition Boot Camp series. If you did not take the series, it is available for purchase and you can learn the dances virtually.
If you are interested in auditioning for the Boot Boogie Babes (Advanced Level), you will need to know all 5 dances in our Audition Boot Camp series PLUS the Official 2026 Audition dance. If you are auditioning for the Boot Girls (Intermediate Level), you will need to know all Boot Girl, Boot Belle and Boot Chicks level dances, plus the Official 2026 Audition dance. If you are auditioning for Boot Belles (Improver Level), you will need to know the Boot Chicks and Boot Belles dances, plus the Official 2026 Audition dance. If you are auditioning for the Boot Chicks (Beginner), you need to know the Boot Chicks dance from Audition Boot Camp plus the Official 2026 Audition dance.

During Auditions we will go over the Audition dance quickly, answer any questions you may have about choreography, technique, and styling. It’s best to learn it before you attend Auditions, so you are ready to go! Reach out to existing members of the DLD organization to go over dances and rehearse. Our Boot Sisters are always ready and willing to help new ladies!
